Subtle shifts from brown to green as winter transforms to spring, humid air before a storm, the scented wind of a fall afternoon, early morning light reflecting on fresh snow.

As an outdoor enthusiast and landscape artist, I am attuned to the sensations of time and place. Over many years of being enchanted by the sensory memory of a season, I often begin my drawings as sketches en plein air. In my studio, I translate these fleeting experiences into highly detailed, patterned landscapes that move beyond surface observation. Lifting the veil of ordinary sight, my work explores hidden structures of pattern, rhythm, and interconnectedness within the natural world. Each piece invites the viewer to look more closely at the ecosystems that connect us all.
